Data notes Locations, countries, cities and the number of endpoints come from the provider's own public server list. It is read several times a day and shown as listed. “Marked virtual” repeats what the provider's own list says. A dash means the list has no such marker; it does not mean the locations are physical. The status comes from a latency check of one published server endpoint per location. “Compatible” means no reply ruled the listed country out and one reply placed the server near it. It is not proof that the server stands there. “Pending” means not measured yet. Network: the operator that announces the endpoint's address on the internet. Its country is where the network is registered, not where a server stands. Five, Nine and Fourteen Eyes are counted by the countries commonly named as their members. Counted is the country a location is listed under, not the seat of the provider. A browser opens the provider's home page as a first-time visitor from the country named and clicks nothing. Listed is every other company the page contacts while it loads. Prices are those stated on the provider's own pricing page for the country named. The last column is computed from them: the renewal price per month compared with the first term per month, bonus time included. Company, seat, owner and audits were looked up by hand on the provider's or owner's own pages, each linked as source. Where nothing could be confirmed there, the field is empty. Features are what the provider's own pricing or server page names in words. None of them is tested here, and a feature that is not listed may exist all the same. All data notes
