A dash means the provider’s download page does not list that device. The provider pages show the same list with a link to each download page.
VPN for iPhone and iPad
Install the provider’s app from the App Store and sign in. The first time you connect, iOS asks whether the app may add a VPN configuration; that is normal. Once it is installed, a VPN switch appears in Settings, and the app’s connect button turns the VPN on and off.
The iPhone has no VPN service of its own. Its VPN settings only hold a configuration that an app, or your employer, adds. 13 providers here list an iOS app: show them in the finder.
VPN for Android
Install the app from Google Play; some providers also offer the installation file (APK) on their own website. Android has a useful setting of its own: under Settings, VPN, the gear next to an app leads to “Always-on VPN”, which reconnects the VPN after every restart. Menu names differ by phone maker.

VPN for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux
On computers, the app works like on a phone: install, sign in, pick a location, connect. Desktop apps often have more settings, such as the protocol or split tunneling. For Linux, providers offer an app or a command-line tool.

VPN in the browser: Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
A browser extension changes the address only for the browser, much like a proxy. Your other apps keep using your own connection. That is enough for a quick check of a website from another country, not for public Wi-Fi. VPN vs proxy explains the difference. 9 providers here name an extension: show them in the finder.
VPN on your TV: Fire TV Stick, Android TV, and Apple TV
Many TV devices can run a VPN app. 9 providers name an app for at least one TV device; 8 of them name the Fire TV. Keep in mind that streaming services can block known VPN addresses under their own rules; Is it legal to use a VPN? explains what that means. Show providers with TV apps.
VPN on a router
A router with a VPN connection protects every device in your home network, including devices that cannot run a VPN app, such as some smart TVs or game consoles. How to set it up depends on the router; many providers explain it for popular models. Two things to know: a router covers only devices connected to it, and a slow router can slow down the VPN for everyone. 11 providers here name a router setup or app: show them in the finder.
